ChapsVision announces €90 million funding round to accelerate growth in the European market
Suresnes, September 28, 2023.
ChapsVision, the data enhancement specialist, raises €90 million to accelerate its development on the European market through targeted acquisitions. This round of financing is led by Qualium Investissement, with the participation of GENEO, and historical investors Tikehau Capital and Bpifrance, who have subscribed to this new round of funding.
Against a backdrop of a sharp slowdown in investment in the tech sector, this latest round of financing is part of a dynamic of strong growth and profitability for ChapsVision. The company has surrounded itself with a pool of first-rate investors, convinced of its ability to achieve the ambitious plan it has set itself.
Olivier Dellenbach, CEO & Founder of ChapsVision, comments: " I am delighted to welcome such prestigious investors as Qualium Investissement and GENEO as partners in our development. I would also like to thank Tikehau Capital and Bpifrance for renewing their confidence in us. This significant transaction marks a new stage in the growth of the ChapsVision group, giving us the means to accelerate our fast-growth strategy. It will enable us to achieve our targets of €180 million in revenues by 2023 and €250 million by the end of 2024, and thus establish ChapsVision as a leading sovereign European provider of mass data processing solutions.
This new funding will make it possible to :
- strengthen the Group's presence in France and internationally in its two core businesses - Cyber and Customer Engagement - through new acquisitions to round out the portfolio of solutions;
- continue development of Argonos, the operating system for massive, heterogeneous data.
"We are delighted to lead this major financing round, which marks a new milestone in the history of the ChapsVision group. These new resources will enable us to pursue our development and make the targeted acquisitions we have already identified. The size of our fund will also enable us to finance further developments for the group at a later date ", says Jacques Pancrazi, Managing Director of Qualium Investissement.
" We have been supporting ChapsVision since 2021 through dual financing by our debt funds, joined in 2022 by our dedicated cybersecurity fund. Over the past three years, ChapsVision's management team has demonstrated its ability to build a leading player in data processing, a strategic sector with major sovereignty implications. We are therefore delighted to renew our confidence and commitment by participating in this new round of financing in collaboration with Qualium Investissement, Bpifrance and GENEO," says Quentin Besnard, Executive Director at Tikehau Capital.
" Bpifrance is delighted to renew its support and continue to accompany ChapsVision through this round of financing, which gives the company the means to pursue its strategy of strong growth to become one of Europe's sovereign leaders in data analysis," says Samuel Waddell, Investment Director at Bpifrance.
"We're thrilled to be joining the ChapsVision adventure. Over and above our desire to support a sovereign tech player, we were particularly impressed by the teams' commitment to impact and CSR, strategic values that bind us. "says Delphine Jarnier, Managing Partner at GENEO Capital Entrepreneur.
