GENEO Capital Entrepreneur announces the recruitment of Nicolas Lapeyre as Development Director.
Nicolas Lapeyre joins GENEO Capital Entrepreneur as Director of Development. In this role, he will be responsible for pursuing and amplifying the growth of GENEO Capital Entrepreneur, which, after nearly five years in existence, now has over €550 million under management through its 3 investment vehicles dedicated to SMEs...
More specifically, Nicolas' mission is to help the GENEO Community and its "long-term builders" to grow.
- On the one hand, by offering family offices investment solutions that reconcile performance and meaning, and by involving them in the GENEO Community if they so wish (co-investment and support);
- On the other hand, by intensifying GENEO's regional approach to forging links with SMEs and SMBs with high growth potential, looking for long-term financing and support, and with all the partners of these companies.
Lastly, as a member of the GENEO community, Nicolas will be helping to develop GENEO's range of financial and support instruments to better meet the specific needs of SMEs and ETIs in their growth and value creation projects.
A graduate of ISEG, Nicolas, 44, began his career with BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions as Regional Director. His career then took him to Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, where he helped set up the group's leasing subsidiary, before moving to ARKEA Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels as Regional Manager for the Grand Ouest region.
With over 15 years' experience as a financial partner to SMEs and ETIs, Nicolas will bring his in-depth knowledge of the entrepreneurial world as well as his strong interpersonal skills and deep commitment to sustainable finance. In the newly created position of Director of Development, Nicolas will help connect various financial players and entrepreneurs within the GENEO ecosystem, while enhancing GENEO's multi-regional community.
