Reinvestment by Alexis Jubert and the arrival of GENEO Capital Entrepreneur: new impetus for Seiven towards European leadership in the post-mortem sector.

Three years after the takeover of GPG Granit and one year after the creation of Groupe Seiven, Alexis Jubert has reached a new milestone in his ambitious entrepreneurial project. By reinvesting personally and bringing his Management Committee on board, he is reaffirming his determination to build sustainable growth and make Seiven a leading European player in the post-mortem market. Alongside its historical partners, Unexo (a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole d'Ille-et-Vilaine), Sodero and Bpifrance, and after three years of decisive support from Siparex, Seiven now welcomes GENEO Capital Entrepreneur to structure and accelerate this new phase of development.

Today, Seiven is a key player in the French post-mortem market: with 8 complementary brands (GPG Granit, GLOG, Ecopierre, La Collection GPG & Cordeiro, ISOFROID Funéraire, ISOFROID Thanato, ISOFROID Médical, La Compagnie des Cimetières), 100 employees and sales of €35 million by 2024, the group offers a unique solution covering the entire value chain, from body preservation to the delivery of funeral monuments.

GENEO, a complete and sustainable partner

With the arrival of GENEO Capital Entrepreneur, Seiven benefits from comprehensive support through GENEO's Carnet de croissance, which goes far beyond a capital contribution:

  • Financial and organizational structuring to strengthen governance and help optimize support functions.
  • External growth Acquisitions: support for sourcing, execution and integration of targeted acquisitions in France and Europe.
  • Organic growth Organic growth: support for the deployment of digital tools, supply chain optimization and the development of new offers.
  • Sustainable performance Sustainable performance: support on ESG trajectory, profit-sharing and inclusion.

Setting course for Europe

In less than four years, Seiven has become a solid, structured group, with ambitions to double in size within the next 5 to 7 years and become the European benchmark in the post-mortem sector. This trajectory will be achieved through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions, following on from the successful integration of GPG Granit and Isofroid.

"Getting more involved means affirming my deep belief in what we are building, with and for our teams, our partners and the families we support. Involving my Executive Committee in our capital, and then tomorrow all our employees, means translating our values of sharing, recognition and commitment into action". explains Alexis Jubert, President of Seiven.

"We are proud to join the Seiven adventure alongside Alexis Jubert and his teams. His entrepreneurial project embodies the values we stand for: ambitious, human and sustainable growth. Our role will be to support him fully, mobilizing all our expertise to develop a growth plan focused on structuring, external growth, digital and impact - to make Seiven a European leader in the post-mortem sector", adds Marc Dupuy, Managing Partner at GENEO Capital Entrepreneur.
