With these two acquisitions, Didactic is expanding its range of hygiene and healthcare solutions and broadening its growth in Europe and internationally in the field of infection prevention. Pearmine Health, based in the United Kingdom, develops and manufactures wipes, impregnated gloves, and oral hygiene solutions; Medadvance, based in Germany, handles their representation and distribution in Europe.
This transaction marks a new milestone in the Didactic Group’s development. It strengthens the Group’s product expertise and manufacturing capabilities, expands its presence in the United Kingdom and Germany, and opens up new opportunities in Europe and internationally.
For more than nineteen years, Didactic has been building a healthcare group dedicated to supporting patients and healthcare providers, with a constant goal: to prevent the risk of infection and make healthcare safer.
A complementary offering for healthcare professionals
Pearmine Health brings its manufacturing expertise to the Group, as exemplified in particular by the Dymacare line, designed for intensive care. These solutions complement Intermed’s product lines and expand Didactic’s offerings for patients with dependency needs.
For its part, Medadvance brings its commercial expertise and close relationships with the healthcare facilities it supports—two strengths that reinforce the Group’s position in the German market.
An Expanded International and Industrial Footprint
Pearmine Health and Medadvance will be able to draw on Didactic’s international network, which spans more than 60 countries, as well as the Group’s industrial capabilities.
For Didactic, this partnership expands its industrial footprint and enhances its portfolio of solutions designed to reduce the risk of infection.
Continuity Guaranteed for Customers and Partners
For clients and partners, day-to-day interactions will remain unchanged: the usual points of contact will remain in place, with an expanded offering and the same level of commitment. The addition of Pearmine Health and Medadvance continues the growth strategy that Didactic is implementing step by step: in France with Polysem, Intermed, and Infineed; internationally with Hygie and Dr. Helewa; and in the Netherlands with Arion and Dispocare.
This continuity is also driven by the leadership team. Jacques Gutedel, founder of Medadvance, and Matthew Ley co-founded Pearmine Health in the United Kingdom; both are joining Didactic’s collective endeavor alongside the Group’s teams.
With these two new companies, the Didactic Group, which has revenue of €90 million, now has 245 employees.
