PRESS RELEASE
Paris, February 17, 2026
The Valtus Group joins forces with Polaris Private Equity, its majority shareholder, to build a global leader.
Valtus today announced a strategic partnership with Polaris, a leading Nordic private equity fund, which will become the group's majority shareholder. Alongside current shareholders, including GENEO Capital Entrepreneur, and the Valtus management team, Polaris will support and accelerate the group's next phase of international growth, with the ambition of building a global leader.
With a presence in nearly 30 countries across four continents and 10 European subsidiaries, Valtus is an international leader in the field of interim management. In 2025, the Valtus group generated revenue of €145.5 million and carried out more than 1,000 assignments.
The management market continues to grow strongly, with organizations increasingly seeking specialized leaders to drive transformation, manage crisis situations, or fill key roles on a temporary basis. Valtus has built a strong competitive position by combining in-depth sector expertise with a global network of experienced leaders.
Polaris: a new trusted partner to support accelerated growth
Polaris is a leading private equity firm in the Nordic region, specializing in supporting well-established, fast-growing mid-sized companies. It works closely with their founders and management teams to accelerate their international growth. Founded in 1998, Polaris operates through three strategies—Polaris Private Equity, Flexible Capital, and Public Equity—and has raised more than €2 billion in capital commitments. Together with its portfolio companies, Polaris builds and implements projects aligned with common objectives.
Polaris will invest capital and resources to support growth initiatives in existing European markets and new territories, while working with Valtus teams to strengthen operational excellence and ensure high levels of customer and employee satisfaction. Valtus is Polaris' first investment in its flagship Fund VI.
Leaders' perspectives
"Polaris understands what has made Valtus successful and shares our ambition to expand our global presence," said Philippe Soullier, Founder and Chairman of Valtus. "Over the past few years, we have built a truly distinctive company that delivers excellent results. This partnership accelerates our ability to penetrate new markets and scale up, while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and customer-centric approach that define us."
Björn Henriksson, Group CEO of Valtus, said: "Valtus is on a strong growth trajectory in a rapidly expanding and still largely unconsolidated market. With Polaris as our strategic partner, we benefit from in-depth expertise and proven experience in developing businesses across Europe and the rest of the world. With the continued support of our current shareholders, we are now ideally positioned to accelerate our international expansion and build a global leader in interim management."
Johan Pålsson, Partner at Polaris, added: "I have been following the interim management sector for many years and am convinced of its growing strategic importance and the significant value it brings. Valtus is exactly the type of company we like to support: a market leader, firmly established in Europe, with a proven model that can be replicated internationally. We are delighted to join forces with the other shareholders to accelerate its already remarkable success and build a true global leader."
Long-standing shareholders who remain invested
Since the 2020 transaction with GENEO Capital Entrepreneur and Société Générale Capital Partenaires, Valtus has implemented a "Growth Plan" based on five key areas: European development, digital acceleration, commercial structuring, governance evolution, and the rollout of a positive impact plan. In five years, Valtus has grown from a French player with €50 million in revenue to a pan-European leader generating nearly €150 million.
" The progress made alongside Valtus over the past six years has been remarkable. Since acquiring a stake in the company, we have supported an ambitious and demanding management team in building a leading player in interim management in Europe and worldwide. This transaction marks a new stage in this "growth story" and opens a new cycle of development in which GENEO is delighted to participate. " says Marc Dupuy, Partner at GENEO Capital Entrepreneur.
" Over the past six years, we have been proud to support Valtus—its founder and management team—in its growth journey to become the pan-European leader in executive interim management. Today, we are delighted to renew our commitment and reaffirm our strong confidence in the company's business model ," said commented Julien Pelissier, Investment Director at Société Générale Capital Partners.
Continuity and leadership
The Valtus management team will remain fully in place and will continue to steer the group's day-to-day operations and strategy, working closely with Polaris and long-standing shareholders GENEO Capital Entrepreneur and Société Générale Capital Partenaires. This strong partnership ensures continuity while providing the additional resources and strategic support needed to accelerate ambitious growth plans.
By combining Polaris' investment expertise and operational capabilities with the in-depth industry knowledge of the Valtus teams, the group is ideally equipped to become the partner of choice for organizations seeking high-level interim executives in Europe and around the world.
